She provides workshops, education services, and personal coaching to innovation centers, research labs, and entrepreneurship centers globally.
 
She is a seasoned technology industry executive, award-winning professor, and author on the subject of commercializing innovative ideas. Wendy’s first book, So what? who cares? why you?®: The Inventor’s Commercialization Toolkit, is a how-to guide for conveying the business value of science or technology idea in a way that investors, customers and other business backers can understand.
 
Wendy has spent her 20+-year career on the business side of founder-led, technology start-up companies that delivered new and novel ideas to market. Her career began in the early market for personal computing in 1982, Telidon and XML in the 1990’s, and more recently, the wave of web-hosted applications and mobile Wi-Fi technologies. Her client list includes a roster of some of the most exciting leading-edge startups, research labs, and innovation centers.

Wendy holds an MBA from Queen's University and is a founding member for the CATA-WIT Forum.  She volunteers her time to organizations inpiring young entreprenuers and to building awareness of science and technology among school age girls.
