What is TechLaunch?

It is an annual business pitch contest designed to educate and provide a stage for entrepreneurs and early stage companies to practice and hone their financial pitch in front of the business/investment community. 

What makes TechLaunch special?

TechLaunch draws entrepreneurs and early stage companies from around the State of Idaho to compete with each other in the following contests:

• Entrepreneurial Idol - A pitch competition for early stage companies that are creating innovative products or services. Participating companies from all Idaho regions give 15 minute pitches with Q&A to a panel of judges that rate both the business viability and presentation. TechLaunch 10.0 will feature a two-round competition with winners of the semifinals going head to head on the last day of the competition. 
• Crowd Pitch - Elevator pitch competition that provides an opportunity for individuals to pitch their idea to TechLaunch participants. In partnership with the Boise State Student Entrepreneur Club, individual entrepreneurs from the public will be selected to give a 1 minute elevator pitch with Q&A to the TechLaunch crowd, which will vote for its favorite pitch.
  

Our Take:

As Idaho's only statewide business pitch competition, TechLaunch enables participants to experience what it means to pitch a business idea to interested parties and receive feedback on their presentations, as well as network with peers and the business community.

The event is organized by Idaho TechConnect and sponsored by the Idaho business community.
